First need: Single parent who is looking for employment and has fallen behind financially. She has had a steady employment history in the past, but issues with her car got in the way. She is struggling to find employment that aligns with her child’s schedule and is open to options such as Door Dash right now while looking for a more permanent solution. However, her car needs an oil change and any income she does get right now is prioritized for other important bills. She believes it will be $100 max to have this completed. Second Need: A man in our program has overcome homelessness, worked hard to rebuild his life, and recently graduated from college. He has now earned his real estate license and is ready to start his dream career! However, he needs financial assistance to cover his MLS dues and fees so he can officially begin working as a real estate agent. If you or someone you know would like to help him take this final step toward stability and success, please reach out. Third Need: A double stroller to fit Baby Trend car seats. A mother who is really struggling with postpartum depression could greatly benefit from a double stroller to fit two baby trend car seats. This would allow her to go on walks either outside or inside at a mall. This would be great for her mental health. Her mother lives about an hour away but is willing to come support her but gas and groceries can be difficult. Gas and grocery cards would be helpful for extra support. A couple family board games, movies or books for the older two kids are welcome as well for the mother to do with the older kids.
