Scott County Health and Human Services serves an important role in support of the county’s overarching goal of safe, healthy and livable communities through outreach to our most vulnerable community members. Clients may be elderly, disabled, in need of protection, or in need of services to assist with basic needs or rehabilitation. The majority of the services provided are mandated by the state or federal government. Services within Health and Human Services fall into four main areas: Social Services, Health & Public Services, Economic Services, and Community Corrections.
