Prison Fellowship is a national, non profit organization which believes that no life is beyond the reach of God’s power. Through partnership with the local church and other nonprofit organizations, we work together to meet the spiritual, physical, and personal needs of prisoners and their families with the ultimate goal of seeing them restored to Christ, their families, and their communities. In Minnesota, Prison Fellowship has two re-entry programs, in collaboration with the Department of Corrections, at the MCF-Shaopee and MCF- Lino Lakes. These 12-18 month programs consist of intensive education, re-entry planning and mentoring to prepare offenders for release into the community in order that they do not return to prison. Other programs include prison ministry, project Angel Tree, and the Warden’s Exchange.
