Give Something Back is a nonprofit organization which coaches and guides students with a history of adverse childhood experiences to attain post-secondary education/ training, in order and achieve a sustainable career and healthy future. We serve youth who have experienced the incarceration of a parent, foster care, homelessness, or poverty, so they can create a productive and promising future and break the cycles of adversity.
Give Back provides long-term coaching and support, career coaching and pathway planning, and financial guidance and grant and scholarship assistance, to youth beginning in 8th or 9th grade. Coaching and services continue throughout high school, their post-secondary education/training, until they obtain a position in their field. We incorporate a strengths-based curriculum to educate and equip youth with the information, skills and support to be successful.
