This holiday season at FISH we are hoping to help make this time extra special for children who are experiencing homelessness with their families and living in temporary housing like hotels around Scott County. We want to create stockings for those children in need, and have found an awesome group of volunteers who will go out on Christmas Eve and deliver these stockings like Santa would. We are looking for people to help fill these stockings and to make it easy, we made a Target Registry with some stocking stuffers and stockings to purchase. They will be sent to us at FISH and we will assemble and get them to the kids! Or, if you would rather get your own stocking and fill it up, we would be happy to pick it up from you! We understand and have learned that people in crisis situations don’t alway think or plan for Christmas Eve ahead of time, so we will be taking donations up until Christmas Eve and will be allowing people to sign up until the 24th as well.
