Good afternoon everyone.  As we are all working together do our part in keeping our community safe and healthy, FISH would like to be able to keep our network updated on services being offered and if you have needs that can be met to help facilitate your outreach.  We will be sending a daily update to our network in hopes this aids in communication and meeting needs.  Please let us know what services you are offering and the help you are needing.

Please email us at fish@fishpartnernetwork.org

River Valley Health Services is reaching out to you regarding personal protective equipment specifically face masks. They have a supply of masks for high risk and vulnerable people. The numbers are included in the PDF for our nurses and interpreters. So  please feel free to share this as you come across needs. Our preference is to have a contact with
one of the staff and arrange to mail out the mask and hopefully screen for any COVIG-19 issues or other health items.

Amid growing need among people in public service, women at al-Mahmood Foundation continue their skillful volunteer production of washable reusable protective face masks. We have donated over 3000 masks as of today to hospitals, first responders, clinics, schools, grocery stores and a large number of high-risk individuals. We plan to continue the distribution where there is need.

We have kept a percentage of these masks for any need in our own community. People who see a genuine need for themselves and their family members can enter their request using the link below.  There is a limit on how many masks may be available per family. Once the request is received, we will have the masks available for you to pick or one of our volunteers will deliver them depending on availability.

NOTE: Due to our capacity, we recommend that you share this link with friends, families and affiliates, irrespective of race, ethnicity and religion, but not share it with larger groups.

Thank you to the Shakopee Lions Club for their very generous donation of $300.00 to the CAP Agency to help purchase a pallet of cereal!

The CAP Agency is in need of special donations to help fill their need for cereal throughout the summer.  Thanks to our community member’s, they were able to work with CUB Foods, and purchase pallets of cereal that would normally cost $700.00 for $300.00.  This is a huge cost savings!  So far enough money has been raised to purchase cereal until June.  If you or your organization would like to donate to this cause please use the link:   Cereal for Summer
