What Created the need: Physical disability, mobility issues and fixed income due
What is needed: UPDATE - STILL NEEDED: Home Maintainence: A single woman with a physical disability, who owns her own home in Savage is needing help with some home repairs. She has purchased some grab bars at Menards, but needs a handy person to install grab bars in her bathroom. In addition, her wood garage door is 30 years old and is rotting out at the bottom. She knows that the door will probably not last through the winter. She is looking for someone to look at the door to see if there is any way it can be salvaged or fixed. Ultimately, she knows she needs a new aluminum or steel garage door but cannot afford this option. If a 16 X 7 garage door can be donated, purchased and installed this would help her immensely. Lastly, she is working with the Post Office regarding a hardship delivery due to the current location of her mailbox (which is in a common area of mailboxes that is a distance from her house). If she is granted the ability to change her mailbox location to be next to her front door, she is willing to purchase a mailbox but will need help with the installation of a mail box to her home or a post.$0.00 of $0.00
