Well deserving youth would love to go to camp!

Request: • We have a 7th grade, African American student, who lives in Savage and attends school in ISD #191. He is a straight A student and a role model in our community. With the right supports, we believe he will someday be a first generation college graduate in his family. • Recently, his mother had a major setback at work and is scrambling to accommodate her new expectations and financial realities. In addition, his father, who was responsible for helping significantly with finances and social-emotional support at the home, was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The family is hanging on by a thread right now and is need of support. • The student thrives academically and in athletics. Currently, the mother reports that the student will be unable to participate in the summer programming this year due to financial realities. For this student, the implications for not being able to participate will be significantly negative while the family is already going through hardship. The family has been historically able to cover the costs for these types of programs. Any assistance the Fish Network might be able to provide this student and family will be greatly appreciated. Total Amount Donation Request: $465.00 • Participating in TrainingHaus strength building clinic (50 sessions) $225.00 • BLAZE Basketball development camp (8 days) $100.00 • BLAZE Basketball shooting club (8 days) $100.00 • BLAZE Youth football clinic (2 days) $20.00
