Vulnerable adult in need of assistance

Adult Protection is working with an elderly woman who has no family or support system. She recently had the little money she possessed stolen from her. She is diabetic and in need of assistance to pay $100 for her insulin. Due to poor vision, she has had difficulty maintaining her home, which has become very dirty, with many items soiled beyond use and in need of replacement. As a result, she would greatly benefit from additional support, including new bedding and clothing. Adult Protection is actively assisting her in securing a safer living environment and accessing services to help ensure this situation does not happen again. This vulnerable adult could also benefit from an additional $200 to purchase other essential items needed to help her make a fresh start in a new and safer place, as she is living on a very limited income.
