What caused this need?

This individual is in need of assistance during this difficult time in his life. He is going through a divorce and has custody of his 3 year old son because his ex-wife was unable to safely take care of their child as a result of substance abuse. He was a truck driver and is currently searching for a different job because he can't be on the road and take care of his son. He is working hard to start a business from home, but will take a couple months to receive income. The Y means everything to him and his son. They previously had a membership and came everyday to swim and exercise. His son also excelled in his swim lessons and loved it! He doesn't want his son to miss out on learning these skills and interacting with others due to his financial situation. He is hoping to be back on his feet in a couple months. The YMCA has given him a 70% scholarship ($79.80/month toward his dual membership). He is asking for help for the remaining $34.20 for 3 months ($102.60) to help him get through the summer.
