What caused this need?

This family consists of Mom and 2 children (12 and 11). FISH did help this family 2 years ago with Christmas gifts and they are requesting assistance again this year. Mom and Dad have since divorced and Mom was in a car accident and lost her job. She can't afford gifts this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
