What caused this need?
The problem we are having locating housing that will allow her to use the voucher is the fact that she has a felony on her record, a fifth degree drug charge. She has called many places, craigslist etc. My client has completed in and out patient treatment and is doing extremely well. She has done a lot to turn her life around for her children. She has three children under the age of 6. The charges will be dropped when she completes probation but her section 8 will expire before that will happen. Looking for either public or private place that will accept felonies and accept section 8. She is currently staying with her mother in a two bedroom apartment. She is willing to live anywhere in Scott County and is approved for a 2 bedroom and up.
