What caused this need?
The family consists of a single mom and six children ranging in age from 14 years old to 6 mths. They experienced about six months of homelessness before moving to Shakopee. The family came to Minnesota to be closer to family and flee domestic violence. They put their things in storage, but have fallen behind on payment of the storage due to extra costs of utilities. The family would really like to make sure they can get the children's birth certificates which would cost over $150 to replace.
