Woman in her 60's & on disability still works hard 2-3 days a week to meet costs of living and fulfill legal obligations. Doctors have determined she needs surgery to attempt to relieve knee pain. She feels that she cannot meet living expenses if she takes time off of work to have this done.$0.00 of $0.00

What caused this need?
The city bought her building and she needed to move. The car she had died and it was necessary for her to purchase a reliable used car for transportation to work, medical appointments, church and support group. This purchase and taxes which are due will use up her savings. Once the knees are fixed she will have less pain and will continue to work so the need should be not cause an obstacle in the future. Her work is for a small nonprofit which cannot afford paid time off so we are submitting this need as a way to help her.
