Summer heat!
I'm reaching out on behalf of a single mom who is facing an unexpected challenge. Last year, she purchased an air conditioning unit to help keep her home comfortable during the summer months. Unfortunately, that unit has stopped working and can no longer be repaired. As a single parent replacing the AC unit is a significant expense. The lack of air conditioning has become especially difficult as the heat can contribute to increased dysregulation and discomfort for the child, making it harder to maintain a calm and stable home environment.
