Single Mother Facing Eviction
A hard-working single mother with two teen-age sons has fallen behind on her rent and is in urgent need of assistance. She works part-time hours in a cleaning business, but work has slowed down this winter. She and her sons are facing eviction if she doesn’t cover the outstanding balance by January 20th. She currently has an unpaid balance of $3000 (which includes last month's rent) and is seeking county assistance to help cover her rent payments. She would be grateful for any help that can be provided towards paying for food, gas, and rent while she goes through the application process for county/state rental assistance. Her needs include: grocery gift cards: $400. gas cards: $100. Any help towards the $3000 rent balance. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.$97.18 of $2500.00
