What caused this need?

Single mom with two young girls who moved here from Mexico about one and a half years ago is unable to pay for her apartment and about to lose her housing. Her boyfriend was recently arrested and will not be returning and he was the main provider of the income. Mom works in a hotel and she is working as much as she can, but this is not enough. If she can receive enough financial assistance at this time to keep her apartment, she plans to continue working with this social worker to find a better job and receive assistance so that she can keep her place.
