Single Mom of Five Facing Eviction Needs Support to Stay Housed
Single mom is reaching out for assistance, please read her response. I am reaching out to ask for $1,800 in rent assistance to help my family through a really difficult time. I recently lost my job after unexpected car problems made it impossible to get to work. My car is now being repaired, and I’m grateful to have a new job lined up starting in September, but in the meantime, I’ve fallen behind on rent. I’ve tried to get help through emergency programs and CAP, but haven’t been able to receive support, and now I’ve been given an eviction notice. I’m a mom of five, and the thought of my kids and I losing our home and having to go into a shelter is overwhelming. This support would give us the chance to stay in our home while I get back on my feet. It would mean stability for my children during this tough stretch, and I would be so deeply grateful for any help you can give.$0.00 of $1800.00
