Single Mom – Injured cannot work- Garbage bill
My client is a Single mom struggling to pay her quarterly garbage bill. She was finally able to secure a part-time job after not being able to for the last couple of years and within walking distance. This has been difficult for her due to her having a non-verbal daughter and securing a sitter as well as not having her driver’s license and a vehicle. My client was able to get through her first day of training. Then later that day she broke her foot while attending to her daughter. Her foot took longer to heal than expected. Her new place of employment held her position for a couple weeks but ultimately had to let her go. She was counting on her first check to cover her $109 garbage bill. This was due on Feb 1st and does not want it to cause any infractions with her landlord. Her income is limited. She was applying for county assistance but because she was offered this position, she did not complete the paperwork. This is something we are currently working on together but takes time. She is very overwhelmed with the news she no longer has her position. Any amount would be helpful to elevate some of her stress.$109.00 of $109.00
