Update: This need has been met through the FISH network. Many thanks for the generous donation. Update: Tires have been donated and mounted by Matt Saxe Chevrolet - thank you! Donations toward the car payment are still being sought. I am working with a single woman who is struggling to maintain her independence despite many hardships and setbacks. She suffers from multiple disabilities related to her health, but continues to work several part time seasonal jobs. She lost much of her ability to maintain her rural home when the Minnesota River flooded this spring and destroyed much of her farmstead and the income she took in from her gardens and chickens. The FISH network and family members helped her get a reliable vehicle to help with getting to work and appointments, and she has been able to pay for some of it herself, but now has a final payment of $630.00 due on the van. She could also use two tires, used would be OK. Size 225 60 16. Tim Lies Belle Plaine Area Food Shelf$0.00 of $0.00
