Senior couple needs help with new tires
A senior couple is in urgent need of help. Only one spouse is able to work, as the husband is unable to work due to health issues. He had four different, major 4 surgeries in the last two years, and was never able to go back to work. They rely on a single limited income and cannot afford necessary car repairs. The wife was able to research more affordable car repair shops and found a discount tire store in Bloomington. The two new tires for a 2017 GMC Arcadia would be $500.00. Their vehicle needs these new tires, especially in the snowy weather that is occurring. They are unable to cover this expense at this time. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.$500.00 of $500.00

What caused this need?
Referrals were given for local food shelves and food distributions. They do not qualify for SNAP, or Energy Assistance. Although they have health insurance, the co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses were very high to pay for the needed surgeries.
