Pregnant mom in need of car seat
An infant car seat is needed for a young, pregnant woman who has recently arrived in the country and is due to give birth next month. She is currently awaiting approval for health insurance and, once approved, she can apply for a free car seat although that process can take 3-4 weeks and may not be completed until after the baby is born. Without a car seat she will have no way to bring her baby home from the hospital. Please help this mom who, prior to moving to the US, was studying social work and worked for a non-profit that assisted victims of sexual violence.
