What caused this need?
Our early intervention team is working with a family that needs to create a sensory area for a disabled toddler. They are working to get items in the area up and out of the way so they can create the area for the child. The goal is to clear an area by putting things up on shelves, make it safe by surrounding the furnace and water heater with a large gate, and build the area for the child to have a ball pool and various other items to help meet his sensory needs in the upcoming winter months when getting outside is more difficult. This family is working hard to make room in their limited space, so shelving to put things up rather than spread out will be very helpful. They are not allowed to build shelving onto the wall due to their tenant agreement, so would need free standing shelving.
