What caused this need?
This mom has received an eviction notice. She will have to be out by September 30 if she cannot get caught up on back rent. A disabled mother and her adult son, also disabled, have fallen behind on rent. The mom lost her disability (SSI) and is in the process of filing to get it back. She lost her dad and her uncle in the past few months. Her son's disabilty payments have recently been reduced and they are in the process of recertification as he just turned 18.
