What caused this need?
Single mom of four children ages 1-14 is barely making it paycheck to paycheck. She has one child who is special needs and requires constant care, and dad passed in May, 2017. We met to talk about community resources for food and diapers that are available to her. She is filled with joy even in the storm and despite her financial situation. She mentioned they are sleeping on very old mattresses on the floor and new mattresses would help all of them rest better.
