What caused this need?
My client, who is a single mother, is making progress towards safety goals in order to be reunited with her children in foster care. However, she has been stalled in this process due to being worried about maintaining her housing. She is working hard to prepare her home to pass the upcoming inspection in order to maintain her Section 8 housing voucher. She still needs approximately 12 light bulbs to replace in her home, but cannot afford this. Light bulbs are required to be in all fixtures in the home to pass the inspection, even if they are not working, because without these it is considered to be exposed electrical. Her inspection is scheduled early next week.
