URGENT NEED Financial assistance with first month's rent and security deposit for a new apartment in Shakopee. In need of $1700. He has been accepted into an apartment in Shakopee and is able to pay month to month expenses, but due to money that the current landlord says that he owes and a fee for breaking his current lease, he does not have the resources to pay the security deposit and first month's rent. His new landlord has set a deadline of October 22 to have a plan for paying this amount so he can move in November 1.$0.00 of $0.00

My client relates that he is afraid of his current landlord who lives in the same building who has hit another tenant, often drinks to excess, has a violent temper and owns an unregistered gun. The building is filthy with mold and maggots. Others have complained but to no avail.
