Repair of treadmill. I have a client who had gastric bypass surgery 2 years ago and has been diligently working to get back on track with her weight and health goals, to help manage her overall health and other disabilities that create many challenges for her. She was able to obtain a treadmill to help her manage her health needs and alleviate her chronic back pain. While moving some items in her apartment, the treadmill belt/track ended up slipping off the track and is now not usable. She states this should actually be fairly easy to fix, but she does not have the strength to do it, nor the tools (reports two pliers are needed).

What caused this need?

My client has been disabled for years, and while she is now working, she has limited ability and remains low-income and unable to pay for someone to help repair this equipment. Having a working treadmill is an integral part to her continued health and recovery.
