What caused this need?

Senior living alone in a home in Shakopee is in need of a microwave to heat up meals. She has very little family/no adult children to help. Her neighbor walked her into our agency for help with many resources. The one I thought was fit for FISH community to assist with is a microwave. She is unable to use her oven and is currently using a hot plate to heat meals. She is struggling financially and has limited income and recently started to receive food support and food shelf services to help keep up. I connected her to longer term senior supportive services, as she is in need of help in maintaining her home and her bills.
