What caused this need?
In the past she's worked out a plan with her landlord, but management changed and this is no longer an option. The reason for the shortage is a change of jobs and inability to get enough hours. She has since been able to secure more hours, but this extra pay won't come in time for this month's rent. Parent is terribly worried about eviction and the effects on her family.
