What caused this need?

I am writing on behalf of a client who is in need of assistance with the cost of his CNA exam. This client has worked very hard to complete the classes through the Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative (District 930) and is now ready to take the exam. Unfortunately, he cannot afford the fee needed to take the necessary tests. This man is extremely hard working and simply experiencing a difficult time at present with his finances. He works part time as much as his school schedule and employer will allow. It is not hard to see that this client is finding it difficult to even ask for help; he explained that he used to volunteer for agencies such as CAP and is now in a position that he needs to use our services. Being able to take this exam will allow him to become self-sufficient in a way that his current situation does not allow. By passing the exam, he will have the professional credentials to get a better paying job and then hopefully stabilize himself financially.
