What caused this need?
I am working with a young mother of a 2 year old. This mother has been an alcoholic for years and has completed inpatient and intensive outpatient with lodging. Her next step is doing outpatient at home. However she does not have a driver?s license. This mother is able to ask about and use supportive people to receive rides. It would be helpful if she could offer a gas card to these people who help until she is able to come up with a more long term plan. This mother is working hard to be a strong, healthy mother for her family. Any help her continue her treatment would be helpful!
