What caused this need?
I am working with a young mother of a 2 year old and 7 year old. Both children have special needs. In order to get the older child the help she needs, a mental Health evaluation is needed. The young mother tries very hard to keep her rent and all other bills paid and up to date. She has less than half a tank of gas to last her the rest of the month and no money to get more. This mom was formerly in an abusive relationship that she has gotten herself and her children out of and is trying hard to get the entire family to a better place. The gas cards will help her get her daughter to the initial evaluation as well as hopefully some follow up therapy sessions.
