What caused this need?

I am working with a young female in foster care who loves to utilize art as an outlet. She is currently struggling to find healthy outlets for her frustrations and confusions currently in her life and she had made a comment that art really helps her. She used to have a huge art supply, but this has since diminished and it would be great to help her rebuild this supply so she can continue to have healthy outlets for her emotions.
