What caused this need?
I am working with a single mother of two children. This mother was recently diagnosed with an illness that has taken away her ability to work. She also has a child with an illness as well. Both of their illnesses require many medical appointments. We are working on securing subsidized rent for her due to her disability (which will be life long). We are also working on securing other income so she will be able to pay her rent ongoing. However, she is short on her August rent by $270. If she cannot pay the rent by August 31st she is in danger of losing her housing. Thank you for your consideration.
