What caused this need?

I am working with a single mom and her two young children. Mom was working which is how she was able to get herself out of homelessness and obtain a place to live for herself and her children and cover all other expenses. She also gets some child support, but it is not consistent. However, Mom is the victim of a sexual assault by a family member and due to this no longer has reliable child care for her children. She has felt very alone since the assault and is not receiving any support from her family around this. Since she does not have reliable child care she is not able to work. She is asking for help to pay her September 2016 rent so she is not evicted. She is working on securing assistance for child care which will allow her to start working again and hopefully get caught back up. Mom also struggles with her mental health and has been extremely stressed out and worried lately. Although she has been extremely stressed out and worried I have seen her working very hard to do what she needs to do to get back on track. Any amount toward this late rent would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
