What caused this need?
I am working with a family whose teenage daughter has braces. The family reports that they were originally told the braces were medically necessary and insurance would cover them. However insurance denied the request. Family developed a payment plan with the orthodontics but due to dad not being able to work to take care of mental and physical health concerns within the family they are now 3 months behind in the payment plan. At this time the orthodontist office will not see the child until a payment is received. Dad is planning on returning to work and hopes to be able to continue paying the future payments but at this time is too far behind to catch up on the payment.
