What caused this need?
I am working with a family of five (single mom and her 4 children). They are in need of backpacks and school supplies, if you are able to help I can send the list directly to you or a gift card would be great as well. This family does not have a lot of extra money right now as the mom is currently having to pay her full rent out of pocket with money she had saved because their home has not passed inspection for her housing voucher and she is waiting for the repairs to be completed so it does pass. She has also not started work yet as it is in a school district and school has not begun yet. The money she had saved to spend on school supplies had to be used for some unexpected car repairs this week. Thank you for your consideration.
