What caused this need?

I am working with a 22 year old single mother of a 4 year old. This mother has been a domestic violence relationship for the past 2 years. Since the last incident, she has filled for an order of protection and has goals for her self to become the mother she wants to be and recreate a safe home for her self. This mother is willing to take the steps needed.The offender took her rent money for January and now has eviction filled. During the last fight, the offender broke the lock on her door, broke her TV, end tables, mirrors and assaulted the young mom. She is in need of $588 dollars. She also does not have money to pay her phone bill. Her phone is so important for her to stay in contact with friends, family and the police if needed. Any help towards this young mom would be greatly appreciated.
