What caused this need?

I am currently working with a grandmother who is in the process of adopting her two young grandchildren. The children are males ages 8 & 10. This grandmother is doing a great job of providing a safe, loving and stable environment for her grandchildren and any help with their Christmas list would be greatly appreciated by this family! Thank you!
