Protected: Holiday Gifts needed for Seniors, Veterans and Children!

Dear Friends of the CAP Agency, As a trusted community partner for over 57 years, we are busy planning our annual holiday programs including Hope for the Holidays, Toy Drive, Adopt-A-Senior, and Amazon Wish List. We wanted to share with you our upcoming programs that we are building with your generous support. With our more than 20+ integrated programs including Housing, Esperanza, Head Start, Food help in the Food Shelf or Senior Nutrition, your support provides families with joy and warmth for the season. In the past holiday season, with your generous contributions, we made over 3,252 individuals’ holiday a little brighter. We are asking you to continue to support CAP clients by signing up again this year. All of our recipients have received help through at least one CAP Program, thus ensuring they have a need not met elsewhere. Here are the ways you can contribute: Toy Distribution: gifts for children aged 0-18 are bought by the donor and dropped off at the CAP Agency any time before the distribution date. Adopt-A-Senior: seniors, including many veterans, receive household essentials including paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, Kleenex, warm socks, gloves, stationary & pens, dish towels, toilet paper, coffee, $10.00 gift card to Target, Cub, or the Dollar Store, and other thoughtful gifts in a reusable bag. Registration Deadline to take part is November 30th. Drop off days are December 1 & 2. Currently we are short 262 bags for these seniors and veterans. Amazon Wish List is an easy way to buy the gifts that you want to donate and have them sent directly to the CAP Agency so families can receive discreetly, knowing there are generous community members wishing them a happy holiday. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/9NW4KPT4NR9C?ref_=wl_share%253Fusp With your help, we can lift spirits and let seniors and veterans know they haven’t been forgotten. One recipient last year said tearfully, “I can’t tell you how nice it was to not be forgotten and given a special gift. I have no family so this will be the only thing that I will receive! Tell them that I thank you so very much!” Thank you so much for your generosity and may your holidays be bright!
