Helping a Family Move Into a Warm and Safe Home This Christmas
We have an urgent need for a family of five—a mom, dad, and their three children—who are taking the incredible step of moving out of homelessness and into a safe and stable home they can call their own. This is a transformative moment for them, but they are facing significant challenges in completing their move. While they have held onto some essential household items from before they experienced homelessness, retrieving these items has become a major obstacle. Currently, the only way for them to get to their belongings is by walking with their 1-year-old baby to the bus in freezing weather. To support this family and help them finalize their move before Christmas, we are seeking Uber or Lyft gift cards to provide them with several rides. These rides will ensure that they can transport their items safely and efficiently, without having to endure the cold or struggle with limited public transportation options. This small but impactful gesture will make a world of difference for this family as they take this critical step toward stability.
