Help a Veteran Get Back on His Feet – One Bike at a Time
Help a Veteran Get Back on His Feet - One Bike at a Time I'm reaching out on behalf of Mike, a veteran who has been facing some of the toughest challenges life can throw at someone. After serving our country with honor, Mike has been struggling with housing instability, food insecurity, and unemployment - battles that no one who sacrificed for our freedom should have to face alone. But here's the thing - Mike hasn't given up. Despite everything he's been through, he recently secured a job. It's not glamorous work, but it's honest work with steady hours and the promise of a regular paycheck. There's just one problem: Mike doesn’t have reliable transportation. That's where a simple bicycle could change everything. A bike would give Mike the independence and reliability he needs to get to work consistently. More importantly, it would give him the dignity of getting there on his own two wheels, under his own power. This job could be the beginning of his journey back to stability, to independence, to hope. We're looking for someone who might have a reliable bike they're not using, or who might be willing to contribute toward purchasing one. A decent bike would cost around $300, but honestly, any working bicycle would be a blessing. If you have a bike gathering dust in your garage, or if you're moved to help a veteran take this crucial step toward rebuilding his life, please reach out. Mike is ready to work hard - he just needs a way to get there. Sometimes the smallest gestures create the biggest changes. A bike might seem simple, but for Mike, it represents possibility, dignity, and hope for a better tomorrow. Thank you for considering helping a veteran who has already given so much for all of us.$300.00 of $300.00
