Help a Disabled Senior Stay Warm This Winter
A local disabled senior is in urgent need of help to replace his broken water heater. He has been living with only cold water for over six months. This kind gentleman has faced heartbreaking losses - he lost his only son in a tragic DUI accident several years ago, and one of his two daughters now battles incurable heart disease. Despite his struggles, he continues to care for his beloved dogs and works hard to stay independent in his own mobile home. He lives solely on Social Security Disability and Social Security. He faces high medical expenses not covered by Medicare. A local charity has generously agreed to match donations up to $500.00, which will help cover both the purchase of a new water heater and the electrician's installation costs. Every dollar helps make a difference - no amount is too small. Please consider donating or sharing this post to help him stay warm, safe, and comfortable this winter. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.$0.00 of $700.00

What caused this need?
He is able to do much of the work himself but lacks the skill to work with electrical appliances that should be left to professionals. He also lacks the funds to purchase a new water heater. He has replaced much of the flooring and the pipes that will lead to the new water heater. He has to wash in cold water, but is thankful that at least he does have water!
