I am working with a 19 year old immigrant young man who just completed his high school diploma and reinstated his costly employment authorization card. He has attended the YouthBuild program for 2 years and now has been accepted into the carpenter's union. He was on his way this week to finalize his position with the union when his car stopped working and is not repairable. He needs to have transportation to continue with his apprenticeship. He is need of a donation of a used vehicle or funding to purchase a replacement vehicle.$0.00 of $0.00

What caused this need?
He has worked very hard to continue his education to complete his high school diploma and work to be self sufficient. His employment authorization is not only lengthy but very expensive for a young person to get. He worked and was a leader in YouthBuild - a federally funded program at SouthWest Metro alternative school. He has made many positive strides in his life along with obtaining the union's apprenticeship -- which he has been trying to achieve in the past 2 years. The staff at SouthWest Metro, YouthBuild and this program are in support of Misrraim and his goals.
