UPDATE: STILL NEEDED - 1) Place to stay - even just a room or tent in your yard - for very nice 60-yr-old man who is working the Rennaisance Festival. Currently living in car. Has small Blind dog, that you hardly know is there, that would go with him to work & anywhere he went. 2) He is an entertainer who would love to work, if anyone has a lead on a nearby place that would take a chance on him. He is a musician & a stand-up comic with good references. A website can also be provided for you to see You Tubes of his performances. Would really like to work & is very talented, but having trouble getting his foot in the door. 3) Desperately needs an Eye Exam & proper glasses. Is currently wearing (all the time) "Readers" of a 400 strength. Would help him in many ways. This man has just hit hard luck & could use a helping hand to get back on his feet & the chance to get to know good people

What caused this need?

He has always been able to make a living entertaining, but the business has changed, & as he ages it becomes overwhelming. The same ways he's always gotten jobs, no longer seems to work for him. He has increased anxiety, which presents as him feeling lost, & he manages this fairly well through the comfort of his darling little blind dog. He is a very giving person who has not always found the right people to give to, & has been taken advantage of quite often throughout his life. He has a good heart. If he could find a place to stay while he works the Ren Fest, where his dog can be with him, & some work performing as a comic or a musician or musical theter or something, he would find the dignity needed to build his confidence to continue to make his living. He apparently was once voted one of of the top ten comics in Chicago,. If he could find some good, reputable, caring people he might find what people CAN be like.
