Furniture and Your Decorating

Damascus Way Reentry Center provides reentry leadershipand services using a Christ-Centered approach. Their core service model supports residents with: a stable housing pathway, employment and career readiness programming, and healthy community connections-all aiming at reversing the cycle of recidivism. Damascus Way is ready to open their new home in Prior Lake.  This is a great opportunity for people needing to hit the reset button for their lives.  As a community this is a great opportunity to make this house a home.  This need is perfect for anyone that likes to decorate, organize and imagine the possibilities!  The great thing about this need is that you don't have to take on the whole house, you can offer to help with one room, or as many rooms as you like.  As an example, maybe your mens group would like to set up the garage, or your church might want to decorate a bedroom, or your business might have office furniture and want to set up the conference room. The house needs the following: -Complete kitchen set up for cooking and eating. -2 dining areas; 1 informal, 1 formal. -4 bedrooms decorated and made up for sleeping. -Living spaces furnished and decorated. -A conference room created for education and studying. -A recreation/ community room furnished and decorated. -1 utility room ready to do laundry. -A garage set up for inside and outside projects. This is going to be a great project and a  meaningful need to be met!
