Family is currently homeless and is struggling with saving money for apartment d

I am working with a family that has been struggling with homelessness. They have been able to stay with different family members and have been trying to save money for deposit and first month's rent. Dad is working a good job as a carpenter and makes enough money to maintain housing but they have had some unexpected car repairs that have dwindled his savings. They have one car and Mom continues to drive Dad to and from work every day in Minneapolis so that she has transportation to get their son to summer school. They are hoping for help with gas and grocery cards so that they can continue to save money for an apartment on Sept 1 and help the family that they are staying with by offering them groceries.
