Family in need
A local mother and her two children (a teenager and a baby) have finally secured a home of their own after the difficult transition following her husband's deportation. While they have a roof over their heads, they are truly starting from scratch. We are looking for donations to help transform their empty apartment into a warm, functional home. We are currently seeking kitchen essentials (microwave, blender, pots/pans, dishes) and household basics (cleaning supplies, trash cans). Gift cards for groceries and gas are welcome too. Your generosity will help this family find the stability and comfort they deserve. UPDATE: Thank you for your incredible generosity. While the family has received many of their needed items, a few gaps remain. If you are able to help, they are still looking for a blender, trash cans, and gift card for groceries.
