Energy Assistance support for single mom
One of our moms is in need of assistance with paying her energy bill. Her energy company said if she doesn't pay her bill by July 23rd they will turn off her electricity. Her contract job ended at the end of June and her new job does not begin until August 12th. She was recently working with CAP, but their energy assistance does not open until September. Dakota county is not able to help her as she does not have a job currently, thus she is disqualified from receiving emergency assistance. She currently owes $1,000, but needs to pay $523.00 to keep her air on through these hot summer days. Any help is appreciated!$100.00 of $523.00
